Light pollution is a big problem in London.  There is a major difficulty to enjoy the night skies - not enough darkness, not enough shadows, where the light could come through. I suppose I wanted to express the idea of something that I miss dearly.  Work is  printed on Mitsumata and Okawara washi - these are beautiful, very thin but strong Japanese papers - they carry a warm moonlit tone. There’s also an extended use of mica. Traditionally it would be put on last, but I start with it, to create a shining base for a starry night sky.
