We’re open to new ways of thinking, seeing and doing
Ian Rawlinson
Ian Rawlinson's work explores places of transition and aspects of internal and external change. These points of transformation are a recurring theme throughout his work, giving voice to ideas of identity, connection and other internal processes. His recent projects draw upon ideas of place and memory and he has produced a series of exhibitions and short films inspired by areas of Cambridge connected to his past. He is currently developing these ideas to depict other transitional places. His new solo exhibition, with poet and writer Grahame Davies, takes place in Cambridge in September 2021.
