FIRE AND FLOURISH

We are delighted to demonstrate the flair and determination of our graduates with our first Alumni exhibition. At Morley College we foster talent, instilling skills and encouraging ambition during our 2-year programme. These former students are all advancing their creative careers in ceramics by exhibiting, selling work and gaining commissions; graduate work has also been selected for the British Ceramics Biennial, New Ashgate Rising Stars, the Bevere Gallery Annual Graduate exhibition and more. 

Other success stories include two students going on to Master of Arts courses, one at Farnham and the other at the Royal College of Art. Many have gone on to set up their own studios or join shared workshops; one is now managing Hanwell Pottery, a large teaching studio.  

Success at New Designers also led to prestigious mentoring by the Gallery Director of Vessel Gallery and mentoring by professional Ceramicist Mitch Pilkington.  

Our Alumni will be with the exhibition while the gallery is open. They are happy to discuss their ceramics, their HND experience at Morley College and share what they have achieved since.  

Adding to the small pool of Higher Education Ceramics courses in the UK, we are making big waves.
