TEXTILES END OF YEAR SHOW

This exhibition showcases the exciting work of students completing the Textiles Foundation course at Morley College London. The work on display is the result of a rich year of study and exploration across the broad spectrum of textiles practice. Working with a team of specialist tutors for two days a week over an academic year, students are encouraged to try new techniques, expand their knowledge and passion for textile materials and process. A creative course that is student centred, each term is designed to enable discovery and confirmation of ideas and personal practice.

First Floor - Textile Foundation, Level 3, 2022-23, EOY Show 

A culmination of the yearlong Textile Foundation course. This group of Artists, Designers and Makers, work independently to explore personal projects and interests to build upon their personal practice. A wide range of textiles processes and materials are employed to interrogate ideas. Specialist tutors support learning across the year to deepen and expand skills and creative thinking.  

Basement - Intermediate and Advanced Textile Practice Group Show 

A showcase of works made across this academic year with focus on creative development and professional practice. Some works on show are made in response to the rich historical collection of the Cumings Musuem, Southwark, while others continued to explore individual practices.
