SURFACE DESIGN

Work in progress featuring a range of 2D design developments by first year HND Ceramics students. The starting point for their surface designs was researching inspirational artists. Students then produced a range of surface designs for ceramics for specific retail design contexts. Students have investigated surface designs using digital and 2D surface disciplines, exploring layering, pattern and motif.
