ECO COUTURE: BIO MATERIAL FOR FASHION

An exploration of the process and possibilities of growing mycelium leather and producing other biomaterials on a small but usable scale. Led by students and tutors from our BA (Hons) Fashion Design, creating opportunity for a fashion practice with sustainability and environment at its core. Photographs and video of growth and processes will include mycelium leather, mycelium in nutrient agar, scoby samples, and knitted/crocheted alginate samples.
