The Shape of Water
The Shape of Water is my response to an imagined brief to develop a range of beautiful ceramic bathroom accessories that convey a sense of calm and well-being, with the focal point of a design for a neti bottle. Using Photoshop and Illustrator our challenge was to create ideas for surface decoration and a set of mock-ups for our design concept. Inspired by fabric prints I discovered in the V&A collections my aim was to pare the idea of water back to a basic motif that I could then use to create a design incorporating echoes of the sea along with the gentle patterns of waves dancing across the water.
